Investigation of the integration of an AFS sensor for the control of a mixing system in collaboration with the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB)
AVES – Analysis and validation of an (AFS) Sensor
Suspended solids (AFS) are the primary substance-related target parameter for stormwater drainage and treatment. Measuring these substances is therefore highly relevant for load-based control of sewer networks. In collaboration with the Institute of Urban Water Management and Environmental Engineering at Ruhr University Bochum, sensor measurements are being verified through laboratory analysis. Based on the comparison between sensor data and laboratory results, the potential use of the measurement technology is evaluated, and possible further applications within the sewer network are identified.
