Together. Measurable. Effective. IndiKlimA sets the standard for municipal climate adaptation

IndiKlimA – Indicator-based climate adaptation monitoring at the regional and local levels

IndiKlimA develops practical indicators and monitoring approaches for local climate adaptation to enable the systematic and comparable assessment of the impacts of climate change and the effectiveness of adaptation measures. In collaboration with municipalities and regional partners, standardized indicators and a digital monitoring tool are being developed, which are intended to be integrated into political and administrative decision-making processes in the long term. In this way, IndiKlimA contributes to the implementation of the federal and state Climate Adaptation Acts (KAnG) as well as to transparent progress monitoring of municipal climate adaptation. The project is funded through Regio.NRW – Transformation.
