On 10 and 11 July 2025, FiW hosted a two-day workshop in Arnhem on cross-border water management between North Rhine-Westphalia and the Netherlands on behalf of the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel, Grenspost Düsseldorf and the Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The aim of the border waters workshop, which was designed by FiW, was to develop measures for implementing North Rhine-Westphalia's future water strategy, in particular the goal of ‘living European neighbourhood in relation to river basins’.
